Public Education
Citizen Action/Illinois strongly supports the right of everyone to the best possible integrated education and fully supports the system of public education from the pre-K through university levels. We support measures to:
Fully and equitably fund the state’s public education system at all levels.
Protect and support the collective bargaining rights of all education employees.
Ensure education resources are fully available to all, regardless of income, gender identity, race, language status, disability and citizenship status.
